How much it costs to ship to South Africa
Aramex groups destinations into two zones:
- Zone 1
- Hong Kong
- South Africa
- South Korea
- Zone 2
Since South Africa is a Zone 1 country and I use Aramex Global Shopper for imports, I’ll only share the import cost for our country.
From what I can gather, Aramex bases their shipping costs on weight only.
You pay R195.00 for the first half a kilo, after which you pay R99.00 per each additional half a kilo.
Aramex billed me R274.00 to ship my Narex chisels, which weighs 0.99 kg, from the US. Not half bad.
If you’re shipping to a South African address from a South African address, the AGS rates found in zone 1 don’t apply.
